If you want to enjoy the single for the music, this is the one you want. Huge analogue sound oozing through. Noise free. The Warp version on clear wax sounds like a stylus on sand paper. The copy I have came in a plain black jacket with gold promo stamp on it. This is the only way I’ve seen them while I was hunting for my copy. Doesn’t seem like the TVT pressing ever came in a real Quoth art jacket. -
this is among afx' most minimal industrial techno slam, with most of the sound focused on the heaviest of distorted kicks, noisy clanking sounds, and a high pitched string or hypnotic touch of synth. it sounds so simple andl in its construction but the choices of sounds and pacing is just so masterful. classic release

I have this version as well as the TVT. This one has rotted so bad, track 4 is unplayable, it’s started to flake material off as well.
The TVT version is the one to get. -

Quoth is an industrial hardcore techno monster and does what it says on the tin. Actually, a 'tin' or tin wasn't provided with this record. More like articulated lorry parts, heavy industrial machinery, giant jackhammers, massive ship building yards, cranes and iron furnaces. Brutal.
Iketa is so underrated. It's deep, it's dark and it's twisted. Love the way it drops from rather cold, melancholic ambient pads to a sinister, bass heavy acidic power riff. On top of expertly crafted TR-808 beats and deep Acidic Electro Techno gated undertones. -

I know I will get a lot of criticism for saying this because RDJ somehow seems one of those few untouchable artists that you cannot dare to criticize - you'll have the fanboys with the pitchforks and torches burning down your house in less time it takes for an RDJ 1000 edition sampled dogfart wax to sell out for $100 a pop:
Quoth is one of the few tracks that I actually think has a purpose. Don't get me wrong, RDJ has a ton of fine stuff, I just find him extremely overrated and overhyped . It's the Derrida of electronic music. -
