Surface noise a bit higher than on a decent presses, but it doesn't make it any worse. Sound of drums is just gorgeous! -

Incredible pressing of this classic album. My copy sounds fantastic. No surface noise apart from some audible clicks on first track side D. 3 out of 4 ain’t bad. -

That’s just wow, no other words, unbelievable masterpiece and ultimate the best -
got some audible surface noise, but its not enough to affect the sound quality and tone of the record. overall, it sounds great and the color/packaging is wonderful -
Guess I was blessed with a good copy since there's no audible surface noise to me. I was originally confused about the mix on "I'll See You..." (I thought it sounded a bit muddy compared to the other tracks), but it makes sense after reading the mastering notes in the booklet. Bummer that they weren't able to recover the raw mixes for that track.
Aside from that, I'm really enjoying the new mix—the drums sound like they have a lot more punch and bite, and everything feels like it has a bit more breathing room. -
A must-have for fans of surface noise. Hopefully this album gets a black repress someday using the same audio, sounds extremely good.

honestly, a stunning remaster. i was skeptical at first but this pressing was 100% worth it as an American Football fan. sounds clean and clear with no surface noise, the subtle changes in the mix sound great, and the LP looks even BETTER. Killer design and packaging. Definitely a figurehead in my collection.
