Erroll Garner – Concert By The Sea

Good pressing, but not perfect. Lacks bass and drums compared to the original “360” pressing, streaming and later CD releases, BUT makes up for it with by far the most detailed presentation of the piano (and Errol’s breathing/singing/moaning haha). The cluster chord when the head stars in Red Top has more notes than I’ve ever heard/realized! I’ll be keeping this until I find a better master/pressing.

The sound quality is great for a restoration of a '50s album. The volume on this disc is pretty quiet compared to the Complete Concert re-release.

It is not a great sound originally, but historical live recording. Furthermore this issue is including 11 previously unreleased tracks. Soundwise, It has more energy than MOV issue. Highly recommended

Here we have a nice mono recording. The sound is fresh and crisp. The soundstage is not so very big but very good for a mono recording and you can easy come close to the music and enjoy.

By looking at the label, there may be a possibility that this was released in the '70s.

This deep groove pressing has eccentric runout grooves on both sides. Later pressings have the same label (font and layout) but have concentric runout grooves.

Digitally remastered, but slower speed and the athmosphere got lost

I have runouts that match the linked one but since there are no runouts on this listing (the one I'm commenting on) I don't know if they are truly different.
