ORIGINAL Powder Mix is the (raw) best - but do not overlook the other release with Warning (London Sumting Mix) - a very good version. And my 2nd fave version. Got that wax!

Warning (Guyver's Rollin Mix) is where it´s at, absolute beastie drop. Not too fussed about the other mixes, love the original so much I never got these remixes as I thought they don´t better the OG...until I heard B2 on a Randall mix. Well done Stretch!

1 of those tracks where all the samples and components melt together perfectly.
I love the way the Warning sample's slightly out-of-sync with the rest of the track, as if it's running a bpm or 2 faster and the way it cuts/fades out in various places. That rawness was lost in the remixes that followed

The London Sumting Mix was done by DJ Stretch with DJ Ron. This was confirmed by Stretch himself in an interview he did with Atmosphere Magazine in 1996.

Stretch remix Side A is wicked with the right balance of bass and breaks, makes the track sound nimble whilst packing a punch, great 2nd drop too which get right into the breaks, stripping things back a bit. Rollin baby

if you want to understand the kind of damage this track caused back in the day, I highly recommend seeking out DJ Hype at World Dance 05.11.1994.
The whole tape is great but the whistles and horns when he plays Warning half way through the set are something else. Proper goosebump business.

Those vocals toward the end finish off a production masterclass

You don't have to be afraid

                      V. surprised no comments on this one, seeing as it's approaching its 17th year. Fell in love with this tune (Roni Size Mix) upon first listen and it is still in my all-time Drum & Bass Top Ten. The beauty is that it is so well-paced; there is no commotion, no hurry. It's beat-led (bass is low down in the mix, but still plays a key component in the composition) and vocal samples are dropped in at absolutely the right parts. The Wayne Smith vocals in the final third are the icing on the cake. High, high production marks. It's criminal that this tune isn't more highly lauded...
