The Promise Ring – Nothing Feels Good

Wonderful mix, not as hot as the original pressing. I consider this a perfectly sequenced album, with side A ending with How Nothing Feels and side B starting with A Broken Tenor -- it seems like a genuine two-sided album. That said, at least for my copy of this pressing, there's a second of A Broken Tenor that leaked onto the end of How Nothing Feels at the conclusion of side A. Very sloppy.

Sounds amazing, dynamic, punchy with sharp separation. Beautiful blue swirl pressing. Doing this emo classic justice. Very pleased.

What a press of an amazing classic in the emo genre, no previous issues to compare to but to me this is absolutely flawless. Color looks amazing, disc is flat and silent and the sound is super punchy and in your face. Didn’t think I could love this album more than I already do.

Sounds great, super punchy and the drums and vocals really stand out on this thing. An absolute classic and a barebones but excellent reissue nonetheless. Color is on point too.

Perfect pressing of this seminal emo classic album, everything's balanced nicely, mastering is smooth and even, could be a bit more low end just bc the bass is so good but all around this is a great pressing.

Our friends lent their copy for a listen and it sounds fantastic. I'd pick it up if found in a store. Summer fun.
