Timeless 12" right here!
I'm pretty sure this was re-released/re-pressed in 2014 (along with most of the Basic Channel catalog), but I've not seen a link to that page on Discogs. I say this since my copy looks hella new and I bought it at Academy Records in NYC back in 2015. Anyone have any leads on the page for the re-release from 2014? It doesn't look like it was merged with this one when I check the history. -
Hyperprism is a never-aging techno banger! One of my favourite 4/4 techno tracks of all time for sure.

i had been listening to this record at 33 for so long, and loved it. finally looked at this page and realized that it's supposed to be 45. i like it at the proper speed; still adjusting to it... but give it a shot at 33. it's beautiful.

this is great electronic masterwork of the very highest order ever created by man using instrument ,a trip of beauty that will impress itself onto any mind that will pause to let its charm enter

Edited 18 years agoProduced at a time when the anthemic side of techno was perhaps paraphrased more widely by CJ Bolland's "Rave Signal" and other more obvious tracks, this record has stood the test time and then some. Like some abstract electronic semaphore emanating from deepest Kreuzberg, it radiates pure minimal techno.
