The masterpiece of Remko Scha, his better produced, perfectly edited, and most accessible work.
Each of the tracks contains one perfect idea, one perfect mood, hypnotic, dissonant, psychic, noisy.
This is a really great record.

Forget the humans, the machines are the guitar heroes our times need !

The premise of setting up machines to play guitars sounds much like stripping music from emotion. So be it. Remko Scha's Machine Guitars liberates sound from emotions that otherwise would obscure purity. Hypnotic rhythms, intricate tunings and the phasing in and out of harmonics over time must have been the result of painstaking experimentation with materials and set-ups. Each track on this disk is a feast of aural complexity and would warrant a full length release on its own. Mr. Scha, any hour long recordings kicking around for release, please?
