The digital 20th Anniversary Edition has a error in the track Face Of Death 2023 Mix. The last minute of the track is missing and the track just ends suddenly. This seems to only be a problem with the digital version and has never been fixed by the label.

referencing Axis Of Evil (CD, Album) mind 059
Things start off well enough with the opening track. Nothing too original and quite repetitive, but still a catchy track and despite the duration surprisingly not too long. The change that Van Roy's previous album Mindstrip has marked has continued, but not so much that this release could suprise one who's familar with his recent works. Sadly, things get very trivial after the opener.
Most of the release just sounds like a Mindstrip Part II and whereas Mindstrip could still manage to have some very good and entertaining tracks, most of the tracks on Axis of Evil are just uninspired.
You can still hear the potential and, standing for itself, this actually is an average album with some good parts. Standing in the shadow of Van Roy's previous works and directly compared to Mindstrip, though, it cannot bear the comparison, just as well as Mindstrip fails compared to older material.
May be well suited to dive into the sound of (newer) Suicide Commando, but is most likely a disapointment for the lot of their fans.
