Edited one year agoMy copies came in die cut blank card sleeves (bought at time of release in Bristol uk), 8 of them are white (4 slightly smaller, thinner card), 2 are red and 1 is black, black is for 6, reds 5 and 7, white for 3,4,8 and 9, smaller white for 1,2,10 and 11.
They have the same sleve labels as the poly liner releases (same ones missing too) and the disks exactly match those. There's no sign that the labels have been re-stuck, they are crisp and flat, perfectly stuck down.
Anyone else ever seen this?
I've long wondered why this is, perhaps shop or dj promos?
Would love to hear from anyone who knows anything about this oddity.... -

I was just looking through this and was wondering what happened to Analord 12 from my folder, then I came here and found there wasn't a 12th one, but there are 12 sleeves for records, so did they kind of give up on it, I would guess the intention was to have one a month... I thought I would check Wayback Machine:

So the theory that it was one a month goes out the window, so 2 released a month then the binder and 10th volume... Perhaps the 12th one is to put the picture disc of 10 in? -
Edited one year agoHave this outstanding set of records with binder since it came out, and have kept each record in the binder since then. All records 17 years after release show zero signs of degradation, I'm assuming because I kept each record in the plastic sheath it was sold with before placing it in the binder. No doubt though that the thick plastic in the binder would cause issues if it was in direct with the vinyl, I had that happen with the caustic window comp which used a similar thick plastic used in the analord binder and the records all got cloudy as they were in direct with that thick plastic.

Is it me, or has anyone else had their vinyl become damaged over time because of the plastic sleeve? Mine looks like it has water damaged, but it clearly hasn't. I've read oils in the plastic sleeves can affect the vinyl over time..

Does anyone know where the wav's are available for purchase? I can't seem to find them.. reflex page sends me back to discogs..
Any help is appreciated!
Cheers
