Where to start with Skanna. Skanna's music was next level and John Graham is not cut from the same cloth as the rest. First off, the sounds and tunes which came from Skanna was original and fresh with an incredible atmosphere and unobtainable energy through his iconic riffs and 4 to the floors. Not only was the music incredible, but the production quality of the music was next to none, every single tune was mixed great and each element was as audible as the other, perfection.
Lets also appreciate the amazing artwork on the records, just perfect.

the big question is - where is Skanna 1 & 2!!

skanna 4, 5 & 9 were by far the best releases off this label. i have nothing against the others but from an atmospheric point of view, these tracks still hold up on the deck today!!

crisp, clear and well programmed tracks by a quality producer which gained the respect and of the likes of fabio, grooverider, peshay, bukem & doc scott

Not sure what the Blu Tonik release was all about as unfortunately this is definitely a discredit to the label in my opinion

For such a sought after label its hard for me to believe that no-one has posted a review. This label defined the term hardcore and had one of the best producers on the planet at the helm, with nearly all the tracks being played by some of the worlds best dj's at the time, this was truly a label to be reckoned with. These tracks emit so many things while listening to them that they truly do encom the way things were at the best time in dance music history. Hardcore u know the score. Rock on.
