Established on 01 June 2005 by renaming UML after Glenayre Technologies Inc. bought the Universal Music Group manufacturing plants in Europe and the US and established the company Entertainment Distribution Company (USA) LLC.
Please note that Sony DADC's purchase of Entertainment Distribution Co. in 2008 resulted in the closing of the factory, so it ceased manufacturing on February 28, 2009 and was subsequently shut down.
