Phono Vox Records

Australian independent label founded by Tony Trameros.

Associated company is Phono Vox Of Australia Pty Ltd. Specialised in "ethnic" (ie non-English, mostly Italian) releases but also released singles by Australian pop artists during 1966-67. Its history goes back to the 1950s when it released jazz 78s.

The singles with VK- prefixes were distributed by Festival Records. Prior to that the label was distributed by Sound & Film Industries (Melbourne) a.k.a. Crest.
