Profile:

EMI Italy's pressing plant in Caronno Pertusella, Varese (near Milan). Active under this name from 1967 to 1997.

The 15,000 square meter plant ceased production, under the name International Media Service, in 2012.

By 1979 the plant had 300+ employees, producing 25k LPs and 20k singles per day. Equipment as of 1979 included eight Windsor-EMI injection 12-inch machines, ten Italian injection 7-inch presses, and 14 manual compression presses.
Cassette production used six Recortecs, two masters and 10 slaves.

LP vinyl records from this plant can be identified by 32mm pressing ring, accompanied by a smaller 19mm pressing ring on one side.

Later, the plant also produced CDs, expanding production capacity from 11.6 million units annually to over 24 million in 1995.

CD's can be identified by mould SID code IFPI 25##. In cases where glass masters from EMI Uden were used, LCCN should be credited as follows:
