American recording studio in Atlanta, Georgia. First opened in 1996.
Formerly a photography studio, it was purchased by producer/songwriter Daryl Simmons in 1994. During the course of 18 months, it was reinvented as a recording studio.
The facility has hosted Beyoncé, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Whitney Houston, Indigo Girls, Bruce Springsteen, Lionel Ritchie, Justin Bieber, Elton John and T.I., among others.
In 2006, Simmons sold the studio to his longtime engineer, Thom Kidd.
In 2020, it was sold to rapper/entrepreneur Elliot Carter, became the facility's chief engineer.
