Polygram Records Private Limited Singapore

PolyGram's record company in Singapore. Established under this name in January 1979 after merging Phonographic Industries Pte. Ltd. and Phonogram Pte. Ltd.

Also operated a vinyl pressing and cassette manufacturing plant in Jurong (officially opened on February 25, 1979 but already operative before).
Vinyl masterings (lacquer cuts) can be identified by a 830 stamped into the runout grooves.
The pressing plant was first on Commonwealth Drive but moved to Jurong in November 1978 and was closed in the mid 1990s.

Their headquarters moved to Genting Road in February 1992.
