Paramount Pictures Corporation

Founded in 1912 Paramount Pictures Corporation (commonly also known as Paramount (6)) is a film studio, television production company and motion picture distributor. Paramount is one of the "big six" film studios of Hollywood, L.A., CA. Also credited as Paramount Pictures Corp.

The original Paramount Pictures Corporation (founded in 1912) was merged to Gulf & Western Industries, Inc. on 19 October 1966. A new company with the same name was incorporated around the same time, and made into a division of Gulf & Western Industries, Inc. The parent company has changed multiple times over the years:
