Established in November 1960 by Minos-EMI in 1991. Minos Matsas & Son Co. Ltd. pioneered in the revival of the 'rebetiko' ('Greek blues') in the 1960s (g rebetiko artists who were without contract at the time) and recorded most of Greece's top artists.

Minos Matsas & Son Co. Ltd. was also the local distributor of the German Ariola.
