British big beat, breaks, and house music label. Co-founded by Damian Harris.

Initially known as being home to the nascent big beat scene leaders like Sonny Wharton.

Both "Skint" (label name) and "Brassic" (in the album cat#'s) are UK slang words meaning broke or penniless – the opposite to ex-sister label, Loaded Records.

Over a nine-year period from 1999 to 2008, "Skint" were main shirt sponsor's on the Seagulls shirts and ed the club when it was down, but not quite out.
