Avoid these cd’s, the quality is the worst I’ve ever seen... just played some of them a couple of times and they started to have holes in the part containing the music! Real crap....

It seems that Tachika is a bootleg label. Ones we've encountered at Ultima Thule have been "paper sleeve" packaged CDR's, although proper CD's are also known to exist. Apparently the Japanese address given doesn't exist. of Kenso and Flame Dream urge people not to buy them. The only legitimate place I've known to sell these is Synphonic who it they do not know if they are a legit label. Seems Tachika could be the same people behind Won Sin, Progressive Line, etc. They've issued a lot of good stuff (dozens more than listed here) yet the quality is very variable, and at $20+ they're not cheap!

p.s. Also, somewhat later, someone else took over the label (most likely an opportunist that was nothing to do with the original label) and deluged Discogs with lots of bootlegs not at all related to the earlier 70s/80s prog reissues that the label was known for. But all that was quashed when Discogs clamped-down on the sale of bootlegs and unofficial releases.
