As i really like the quality of the remastering, the pressings of the vinyl, and the full colour sleeves, I wish Dark Entries would reissue music from Anne Clark (with David Harrow), go for it DE !
We want Self Destruct, Sleeping In Metropolis, Our Darkness obviously.. -

Edited 3 years agoI really wish Dark Entries would do a Lil' Peep box set. Patrick Cowley is cool but really, we are not acknowledging the Legacy of Lil' Peep, switchblades, cocaine, goth boy clique make a hoe shake!

Edited 3 years agoThis label is like a giant supermarket. Choosing expensive tracks without real concept just to reissue them..

Outstanding reissue label. Every release has insane attention to detail. Excellent pressings, high quality sleeves and detailed inserts. You can tell the folks running this label are true fans.

Great label, they have new synth-wave(dark-wave) records with artists like 'The Frozen Autumn', 'Miss Kittin and The Hacker' and 'Bezier', and re-issued goth, new-wave and obscure italo-disco with 'Xymox', 'Trisomie 21', 'Beranek', 'The Neon Judgement', 'Lena Platonos', 'Clay Pedrini', 'Ghibli'.. all worth checking out!

synthwave obscurities, electro / italo floor hits, melancholic post-rock ... old or new, dark entries has it all. each listen is very rewarding, and it's just stunning how cohesive it all sounds given the diverse array of sounds featured.

I really appreciate the reissue program this label has been running. I've picked some of my favorite italo disco tracks from them. It's done with love and care - full picture sleeves, thick vinyl, good mastering, no extraneous remixes and a postcard inside with lyrics, a photo and full credits. I've wondered what these songs said for years and it's nice to see their mangled English on a post card. It's kind of absurd to see these almost dadaist poems given such serious treatment. Of course I love it!

Essential reissue label for fans of obscure Minimal Synth, Electronic New Wave & Italo Disco.
They have a knack of knowing the most in-demand, ultra rare material that most people cannot afford originals of and reissuing them with fantastic packaging and a wonderful sound quality.
Highly recommended, and if your local record shop does not stock them then you need to let them know!
