Pflichtkauf

Pflichtkauf is the label run by Thomas Hein, who's also the organizer of the Maschinenfest-Festival (former "Musik in Elektrisch") in . The festival is one of the biggest festivals with music between Industrial, Rhythm Noise and Dark Ambient. The first release was a cooperation work with Ant-Zen (act 073/Pflicht 01) which features a live recording of the Noisex-Sideproject "Andxesion". Other releases of the label are the festival-compilations for the Maschinenfest-festival, which usualy are made in two versions. The first (limited) version is packed in a paper-etui and is given to the visitors of the festival, the second version comes in common plastic trays. Another part of the Pflichtkauf-catalogue are liverecordings from the festival, such as P.A.Ls "Live at 2 am" or the quite new Ars Moriendi "Live at Maschinenfest 2002".
