C.I.P. was an experimental music label based in Chicago, Illinois. The mission of C.I.P. was to present engaging work by new artists as well as reintroduce critical, out of print recordings. The label ceased operations in 2014, but had a one-off resurrection in 2019 with the release of Chop Shop's Primer 2LP set, as that release had been in the works prior to the label's termination. |
