Edited 3 months agoJoergmueller's second album builds on his 2009 debut, 'Mjiu,' trading its minimalistic dub-techno-ambient sound for a more rhythm-driven, Jamaican-style dub infused with classic BC dub-techno elements: chords, delays, and sweeping hooks. A subtle ambiance softens the dub basslines, while touches of rooted reggae, ska-inspired vocals, and effects enrich the tracks. This blend of traditional and modern dub creates a compelling listening experience. Fans of Rhythm & Sound, System, International Observer, and Intrusion will find plenty to enjoy here.
