    Hey Nik.

If you have no luck with record stores, independent women might be fun.

This store has a great selection of new and used hip hop on vinyl and cd. You can also find the occasional electro/break beat gem in their used section. Listening stations are available

I saw an ad for this place in the yellow pages, and they claimed to have over a million in stock so when I went out looking I was expecting a huge building, and actually missed it my first time around. Turns out it's a tiny, cramped building (small house?), but it's packed with records, CDs, and memorabilia. There are three floors of music to look through. I spent my time downstairs looking through jazz LPs which took so long I didn't even have time to look through the other sections. The owner seemed a bit stuck-up, and one downside was that none of the used records had price tags on them - after pulling a few out, I showed them to him and he came up with prices off the top of his head, which were far above what I was expecting to pay. If you have the money and are after a particular record, it's a good place to look, but if you're just into casual record shopping, like I am, there are other places in Vegas to go that have more suitable price ranges.

Thats an understatement... But he does have a crazy collection of rare funk/northern soul 45's that he is more than willing to sell to you if you have more money than you know what to do with.

hiphopsite closed. I a store called Sahara Records. I think they have two stores. Didn't find too much when I was there but at least something. Other than that there's not much going on there vinylwise.
