The recently released „Sacrificial Rites Of Devotion“ split with Chaos Cascade revealed a creepier, more mid-paced side of Power Electronics, „Sadotantra“ offers a more violent & aggressive side of Scatmother- yet dark as always. Sharp in sound as „Beyond“ of Hijokaidan, but one can also find brutality similar to Massona or Grunt and above all a sound of it's own identity. There is subtle textures, rich in detail. The album will blossom best if you raise the volume until it hurts. „Brahma Shakti“ is a landmark & explains well what the album is about- ideas. The songs melt various ideas into one & takes less time as many other Power Electronic bands do. It's like an attack with a drill towards your head that will give you more than half an hour of discomfort.

Over the last years, Pissoir Rouge has established himself as 's best-known dirty little secret. The hard-working maniac from the the Eastern slums has created his very own brand of vile and hyper-aggressive blend of Power Electronics violence and Harsh Noise chaos, which may remind the attentive listener of mid 2000s Bizarre Uproar, the best Macronympha classics and sometimes even the founding -driven crimes of early PE history. Still, Pissoir Rouge succeeds at always being unique and one of the most distinct personas of the oftentimes bleak nowadays Noise scene. The official debut album“Asphyxia Apotheose“ presents everything the project is known, loved (and hated) for. Mania, despair, supremacy, perfect timing and execution and most of all the shameless honesty of genuine sadomasochistic experiences, which offer at least a little solace in this meaningless world. Jenne888 is a newcomer to the scene and presents great electronica with his debut release „Mother“. Despite not having any previous output to show, this short but sweet tape is an instant win. Refined Ambient soundscapes are paired up with tasty and full analogue Synthesizer sounds, causing an orgasmic marriage of sounds.

Scatmother is a name that will finally establish a mark in the history of German Noise & Power Electronics, being carved in the memory and mind of the morbid, a step further, even deeper. „Vivikta“ follows the footprints left by „Sadotantra“, the previous album, with its distinct blend of old school Power Electronics and heavy Industrial virtues. All this forces you, as a listener, to fall down on your knees and shake your head until you collapse in front of the sheer structure and aggression that is fully displayed here. Maybe less harsh and piercing than previous outputs but definitely more brutal and heavy.

„Insekten aus Glas und Metall“, the fourth track, for instance, sounds as if one person is vandalizing an entire room until nothing but dust remains. Juicy and odd penetration of the buttons from lower, more mid paced, disturbing levels up to the maximum and full force assault on the audial senses. Lyrically it focuses on a blend of Eastern Spirituality and deep ecology, and its concept is hostile and antagonistic towards humanity, praising the detachment of mundane life, an elitist and outcast lifestyle. It feeds on the figures and thoughts of Charles Manson, Julius Evola, Buddha and Ernst Jünger to reinforce its concept and inspire the creation of „Vivikta“.

It contains an aggressive world of sound, composed of menacingly clattering frequencies merged with low, massive tones and their ritualistic dimensions into a rustling, shrill, mangling mix of Terror Noise and Power Electronics. Sa Bruxa is most certainly a name that any true connaisseur of sonic art should have heard by now. Since 2016, Italian artist Guiseppe Novella has been releasing high quality releases dedicated to the dark sonic art of ritual industrial and ancient truths of spiritual achievement. The new full-length „Ritual“ presents not only another landmark in their discography, but also many new interesting aspects.

First of all, Sa Bruxa's craftsmanship must definitely be acknowledged. „Ritual“ appears as a complex and nifty arrangement of different styles, blending ritual bells and chants with slow drones and ambient soundwaves, while also including throbs and oscillations usually found in the murky past of Death Industrial. However, „Ritual“ is by no means an uninspired genre mix, but an intelligent and stringent work of sonic sorcery that truly transcends genre boundaries and creates something new (and arguably better). Throughout the play time of over an hour, the listener constantly gets the impression that something new is waiting just around the corner, building up on past elements and blending the old with the new. A truly marvellous sonic journey.

It is not too far fetched to state that those who are aware of the most ambitious ritual Industrial projects like Shibalba, Phurpa or Halo Manash would instantly recognise certain elements of theirs in the current Sa Bruxa output. Organic sounds of water and air mixed with ritual instruments conjure up a feeling of sincere spirituality and the compositions flow nicely, making „Ritual“ a tad more consumable than some more obscure projects, but by no means one-sided. A true beast of an album and an absolutely essential buy!

Womb11 is rancid and decomposed Nekro Industrial unleashing its debut album on Dunkelheit Produktionen. This man hails from the bleak and desolate wastelands of Russia and in many ways the sounds reflect this hostile environment. Slow and churning dark throbs, clatters and sound waves form a cobweb of deathlust and dark magick.

One thing that is especially striking is the analogue nature of the music. Classic Industrial weaponry like the MS10 live up to their long-lasting legacy and the deep and full waves interact with percussion created with real bones and human remains. There is a feeling of minimalism and trancelike repetition that is mastered skillfully, reminding the listener of absolute classics like Zero Kama, Halo Manash and Korpses Katatonik.

There is no doubt that Womb11 revels in death worship and anything sinister and macabre. The tracks find a very unique space located somewhere between Ritual and Death Industrial while maintaining a lot of character and refreshingly unmodern approaches.
