Absolutely appalling behaviour from Alexander Omar Smith of FXHE Records. I will no longer play his music in my sets, as all his records are in the bin.I cannot in good conscience promote or financially a person who not only has a long history of class A prick behaviour, but who continues to escalate to the point of assaulting a woman publicly. We must demand more from one another when it comes to how we treat one another - its not hard to not be a wanker! As a former fan of his, this has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Didnt hear about this, appalling behaviour. I had heard from several reliable sources that he is an egotistical, unpleasent dick...this only confirms it, but worse. Likewise, I will bin the few records of his I own, to the recyling bin.
While he's no doubt a good producer you get a sense of his character from the arrogant titles of his albums and that fact that all of his releases are greatly overpriced. He's not an artist I have or will and this vile behaviour only confirms that.

edit: AOS' response on instagram really just digs that hole a little deeper for himself but removing the digital releases of artists who have publicly disowned him (John F.M., HiTech, Full body du rag) is just pure pettiness and further damages his already questionable reputation

The fact that so many artists close to him immediately made statements, and the reaction from people in Detroit proper tells me all I need to know. He seems like a man that has been imploding for some time. I sincerely hope he gets help for whatever is torturing him.
