The original DAT for Sky Joose's 'Assassinate' was tracked down! A remastered version is dropping on the Cryptic Jungle bandcamp site on December 2nd, along with 3 other unreleased SJ tracks.

Wicked album, the unknown tracks are mad! I agree it sounds as though track 12 (wow) & 16 feature Sky Joose, either solo or with someone else. I've always suspected he was involved with The Gambino Family too & this makes me certain, possibly with Potential Bad Boy. My guess is 11 is PBB related too. Sky Joose apparently has a fair amount of unreleased Jungle (& Garage) I hope someone does the right thing & puts it out. Check the Sky Joose album - 'What's Your Style?' for more madness that never made it to wax & his Youtube channel under his real name for plenty unreleased bangers & some wickedly wonky tunes.

I bought the CD hoping for the 'Potential Bad Boy + Bad Vibes' remixes, along with the Jah Jah Remix, but was surprised when the first track was Chatter B's 'Bad Man Tune'. Fast forward an hour, and I realized that nearly every track was from Redskin Records. Full-length, high quality, directly-from-DAT jungle from one of the best labels on the scene.

One look at the tracklist should be enough to see why I rated this 5 stars. I've only seen a couple of these online, and they all seemed to be promotional. Hopefully a proper version came out and more come up for sale, but as of now, I've only seen 2 or 3 available.

            Buy on sight.

EDIT: I just ID'd Track 6 as a 'Gambino Family' release. The other 3 unidentified tracks (11, 12, 16) could be released under other aliases, or exclusives. Not sure yet.
