I'll give it some more time, but first impressions are decidedly MUTED. Also, where's the wonderfully tacky Goldfrapp "stamp" on the cover. Trying a bit too hard for seriousness. -
Was a little disappointed with some surface noise on side 2 of my standard Vinyl copy.
Other than that discrepancy, Silver Eye rates as my favorite Goldfrapp album to date.
Beautifully done photography on the gate fold sleeve and the 2 included photo prints of the artists was a nice touch.
I also had an issue with the file not being available or not yet ed by the artist when I tried to on the 2nd day of release.
I tried again today and am happy to report that the content is now available in the States. -
Bit disappointed by the code that came with this. Went to the website, but it didn't seem go... anywhere. Took me to a dead end site. Anyone else have this problem?
