okay. having now listened to both, the black sounds superior to my humble old ears than the Red vinyl. just more clarity and precision. I'm not saying that the red is bad it's just not as good as the black vinyl.

Any idea how the red / white / black vinyls compare? Any known problems on any of these colours before I go and pick one up. I'm thinking play it safe with black at the minute but if the red's the same quality I'll go for that
